Today
I thought I would share something other than a recipe! I thought I could share
with you my never-ending list of things that need to be done and things I would
like redone.
Since
we sold our second property, we wanted to focus on using some of the extra
money for our current home on some updates, makeovers and renovations.
I'm
totally a to do list person...I probably have 10 different ones
posted around our house, but they are great reminders and keep me focused!
Here
is a list of things that Steve and I would love to accomplish in our home! (The
things that have be done have the strikethrough).
Outside/Entrance:
-
Plant hedges, boxwoods, flowers and a tree
in the front yard.
Find a plant or tree to put on either side of
the front window.- Paint the front door.
Add decorations to the front door area (umbrella
holder, wreath on door etc.)- Power wash the stairs, patio and add a new coat
of stain.
Plant trees, plants and flowers in a fenced area
in the backyard.Set up a couple of sitting areas.- Change the two exterior lights in the back.
- Organize the shed and put siding on the
doghouse.
- Make a small vegetable garden.
Garage:
- Clean out
- Set up a storage
unit
- Set up a working
station
- Organize sports
equipment (bikes, skis etc.)
- Set up a small area
for spray painting
- Paint the back door
Foyer:
- Paint
- Re-wallpaper

Just like my title, this really is a list that never ends. I will continue to add and cross off things off, but I'm glad I have got a head start on it this summer. I can't wait to start sharing some of our before and afters!
